By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree with the terms of this policy, please do not use the App.
1. Information We Collect
We collect various types of information from and about users of our App, including:Information collected automatically:
Device and Usage Data:
We automatically collect certain information about your device and how you interact with the App. This may include your device type, operating system version, unique device identifiers, and information about your usage of the App (e.g., videos watched count, features used, sleep timer activation, and configuration preferences).
Media and Files Access (Local Permissions): To fulfill its core functionality as an offline media player, the App requests permissions to access photos and videos on your device (READ_MEDIA_IMAGES and READ_MEDIA_VIDEO).All media files, video paths, and thumbnails are processed locally on your device. We do not upload, stream, or transmit your personal videos or photos to our servers.
Local Storage & Configuration: We store configuration preferences, favorite video IDs, and pinned folders locally on your device using local storage settings (SharedPreferences).
Cookies and Tracking Technologies: We do not use cookies. However, third-party services integrated within the App (such as advertising networks) may use mobile tracking identifiers to personalize your experience.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:To provide and maintain the App:
To operate, load, and play local videos in a vertical feed, render folder listings, and organize your media.
To process In-App Purchases & Subscriptions:
To verify and maintain your Pro upgrade status (3-month subscription) and charity donations via the Google Play Billing system.
To send local notifications: To send daily reminders locally on your device to let you know if new video folder additions are detected. These notifications are handled locally and do not use remote messaging servers.
For analytics and research:
To analyze usage trends locally to understand how users interact with the App to optimize features like playback speed and sleep timers.
To show ads:
To display banner, native, and interstitial advertisements for users on the free tier.
3. Information Sharing and Disclosure
We may share your information with the following third parties:
Service Providers and SDKs:
We integrate third-party software development kits (SDKs) to facilitate the App’s features:
Google Mobile Ads (AdMob):
Used to serve advertisements. AdMob may collect and process device advertising identifiers (e.g., AD-ID) to show relevant ads.
Google Play In-App Billing:
Handles all subscription checkouts and charity payments securely. We do not store or see credit card details.
Legal Compliance:
We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g., a court or government agency).
Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as a business asset. We will provide notice before your information is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
